Purchase information and legal contact details

Ready-made paintings

You are buying the original painting described on its product page, with my signature and certificate of authenticity, supplied without a decorative frame. For a non-personalised painting bought online, you have 14 days from receipt to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason. You can tell me by email, post or through your customer account. Include your name, order number and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw. My contact details are at the end of this section.

Delivery within France

I deliver within France. Ready-made paintings are dispatched within 5 business days of payment. This preparation time does not include the carrier’s delivery time. Shipping charges and the delivery options available for your address are shown before payment. For a personalised painting, the schedule in your order summary applies. I will let you know if there is a delay. Your statutory rights concerning delays and damaged deliveries remain unaffected.

To make a request online, open your customer account using the email address from your order. Select the order and the items you want to cancel or return, then confirm your request. You will receive an email acknowledging it. Requests concerning personalised paintings are reviewed according to the terms that apply to your order.

Returning a non-personalised painting

After telling me within the legal period that you wish to withdraw, send the painting back within 14 days, protected for transport. You cover the direct return costs unless the painting is faulty or does not match its description. I refund the price and the original standard delivery charge within 14 days of your request, using the same payment method unless we agree otherwise at no extra cost. There is no restocking fee. I may wait until I receive the painting or proof that it has been sent back, whichever comes first. A deduction may only be made for a loss in value caused by handling beyond what is needed to examine the painting.

You can use the statement below, but you do not have to use these exact words. Send it to the business contact details at the end of this section. I am withdrawing from order [number], ordered on [date] and received on [date]. Customer name and address, [complete here]. Date, [complete here]. A signature is only needed for a paper letter.

Personalised paintings

Your painting is made specifically from your request. The 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to clearly personalised goods (Article L221-28(3) of the French Consumer Code). This does not remove your statutory rights if the painting is faulty or does not match the agreed description. The production month and estimated dispatch date are shown before checkout.

Lessons at home

One-to-one lessons are for children aged 7 to 12 and must be booked by an adult. Each two-hour lesson costs €55, including materials and travel within the accepted service area. Your summary lists every selected date and time. Booking is confirmed after payment. You can cancel free of charge or ask to reschedule by emailing me at least 24 hours before the lesson starts, using Paris local time. New dates are subject to availability. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your lesson or miss it, the lesson will not be refunded. If something prevents you from attending, please email me as soon as possible. If I cancel, you can choose a full refund for that lesson or another date. This policy does not limit your statutory rights, including any applicable right of withdrawal, or the legal consequences of force majeure.

Payment and statutory guarantees

Available payment methods, any shipping charges and the total due are shown in Shopify’s secure checkout before final confirmation. I will never ask for your card details by email. Statutory guarantees of conformity and against hidden defects apply under the conditions set by law, including to personalised works.

For a new painting, the statutory guarantee of conformity covers defects that appear within two years of delivery. Bringing the painting into conformity is free of charge under the conditions set by law. If this is impossible or cannot be completed within the statutory period, you may be entitled to a price reduction or cancellation of the sale. The guarantee against hidden defects may also be invoked within two years of discovering the defect. Please contact me so we can find the appropriate solution for your painting.

Questions and complaints

For a question or complaint, please write to me with your order number and a description of what happened. I will review your request. Your legal rights to seek a remedy remain unaffected. View my contact details
